How it all began-I enjoyed taking photos as a child, but first became serious with photography when I was forced to sit out from racing in 1998, due to a broken shoulder. I went to watch my friends race Arenacross where my mom happened to be singing the national anthem. She some how talked the promoters into letting me take pictures on the track with her camera old Olympus film camera from the 80's. Ever since then I was hooked. I worked with film in high school, but then quickly switched to digital in early 2000. It wasn't easy shooting digital at first. I can remember the film photographers saying at the time how digital will never replace film. How much things have changed since then. Photography is an ever changing industry that I enjoy greatly. I look forward to the new photographic challenges that await me. Closing words- I would like to thank my family and friends who were supportive of me when I began taking pictures.
