12/25/07- Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday. I got a couple new camera goodies from Santa, and treated myself to a 300mm f2.8. Look for lots of new shots in 08, starting with Robbie Maddison's record distance jump in Las Vegas. Since it is the season for giving, here is a wallpaper of Maddo and Pastrana from Glamis.

12/12/07- I bet you all thought I forgot about the site? i am still alive, and am staying in NJ until Christmas. Not too much has been going on lately, other then working on some deals for 2008. I got a new Canon 1D MarkIII the other day, and I can't wait to use it at the first round of SX in Anaheim. The high iso capabilities are leaps and bounds ahead of the 1D MarkIIN. Speaking of which, I have a 1D MarkII for sale. If anyone is interested, please email me.

11/14/07- I shot photos at Deegan's house once last week and once this week. I figured I would make it easy for you guys and combine both days into one big gallery. In it you will find photos of every Mulisha rider, even Scummy, who is back hitting ramps with the crew. Click the image on the right to view the photos.
This weekend I am going to somewhere in Mexico for a Freestylemx.com Tour stop. Lets hope I don't get sick like last time. I know you aren't suppose to drink the water, but who the heck likes warm cocktails?
__________________________________________
11/1/07- Today I went to Deegan's house to snap some pictures of Deegan, Twitch, Potter, Garland, Faisst, and Taka. When the guys were done with their session, they decided to ride over to Fitzpatrick's house to hit the new 115 foot ramp jump. The jump boots you into the clouds. This didn't stop Potter and Taka from throwing tricks over the big dog. The real question is, who is going to flip it first? There was talk of it between Twitch and Potter, but it was put on hold for another day. Click the image on the right to view the photos.
Tomorrow I am off to Glamis to shoot photos of Pastrana and the rest of the Red Bull riders during the filming of his next video. Red Bull will also be premiering Pastrana's latest video Friday and Saturday night in the dunes for all the Glamis people. Unfortunately, I will not be able to post the photos because I will be working for Red Bull. I will see if I can release a few teasers on the site when I get back.

10/31/07- Twitch hosted a Halloween Party where costumes were mandatory. The costumes were hilarious and some were down right obscene! Of course the rest of the Mulisha crew attended, along with Nate Adams, Jason Lawrence, Ryan Morais, Andy Bakken, Logan Darien, and others. The party was a lot of fun, and didn't get too out of hand. Click the image on the right to view some of the costumes (may not be suitable for younger viewers).

10/24/07- I got a nasty cold while in Orlando, which sucked, only to come home to everything around be burning to the ground. The fires around here are pretty intense. You can see the smoke coming over the mountains behind my house. My thoughts and prayers go out to those who have been effected by the fires. Here is what the Palomar fire looks like from my bedroom window.
Nate Adams took home his 4th Dew Tour winning, giving him his second consecutive Dew Cup and AST Athlete of the Year Award. Congratulations Nate! Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg posted his best Dew Tour finish, coming in second. Todd Potter rounded out the podium for the second stop in a row. Adams Jones is a mad man. Recently released from the hospital, Jones wanted to make sure he finished second in the series. All he needed to do was complete one jump and pull off. Sure it sounds easy, but not when you have 6 broken ribs, a broken scapula, and a nearly collapsed lung. He landed the jump and it sure looked painful!. 10/17/07- The weather here in Orlando is really hot and disgustingly humid. Instead of sitting outside sweating my ass off all day, I have been sitting in Hotel Stenberg, aka Twitch's motorhome, enjoying the a/c and working on US Open photos. For the first time in awhile I didn't mind being stuck behind the computer for hours editing photos. Click the image on the right to view the photos. More from the last stop of the Dew Tour later this week.

10/15/07- Last week was my 24th birthday. Kind of scary to think i have been shooting photos for going on 10 seasons. Wow. What a better way to follow up a mid-week birthday then to go to the US Open. Saturday night was one crazy main event, followed by a crazy night of partying. Before you ask, yes i did shoot photos of the race. Yesterday was spent driving home and recovering, along with some more recovering this morning. Gotta love Vegas. HAHA. Now I am getting ready to fly to Orlando for the final stop of the Dew Tour. I will try to get the US Open photos done on the plane. Time to get back to packing.

10/1/07- The LG FMX Championship took place in Pomona, CA this past weekend. Nate Adams was going for his 5th consecutive LG win. This year was different from the years past. Instead of a 2 run format, the riders would be competing in a head to head format. The winner from each match up would move on until 3 riders remained.
Adams, Stenberg, and Rebeaud would make their way into the finals. After fracturing his ankle just one week ago, Twitch took home his first LG win. Nate Adams thought he had a flat tire after going through some soft dirt. Adams would pull off, only to find he did not have a flat tire. This was a heart break for Adams. Rebeaud would finish second. Results would only be given to the top 3 riders. Click the image on the right to view the photos.

9/26/07- I left BroCal...I mean SoCal for Nevada to hang with the NV/HC crew. Miller is currently shaping up his course, leaving only 1 ramp to be sessioned. While Miller, Mason, and Burlew worked on the course, Jones, Bamburg, and Richmond threw down on the 1 ridable ramp. Click the image on the right to view the photos.

9/23/07- The fourth round of the AST Dew Tour took place yesterday in Salt Lake City, UT. The course was the most difficult design seen so far this year. Many of the riders struggled to perform their best tricks over the technical up and down hill double double sections.
Jeremy Stenberg was forced to sit out of competition due to minor fractures in his right ankle after he over jumped while doing a Superflip. Taka Higashino took a hard fall during prelims when he landed in some soft dirt on the side of the landing, sending him face first into the ground. He would walk off under his own power, but not return to competition.
During finals, the winds were randomly gusting, and it looked as if it were about to rain. Todd Potter was the first rider to go and put in a solid run to put him in first place. He would remain there until the last riders run, Nate Adams. Despite a light rainfall, Nate put in a flawless run, pulling out the 360 NacNac, Lazy boy flip, and Cordova flip. His score of a 93.33 would not be beaten. Jeremy Lusk linked together big tricks off every jump to earn him his best finish of the season, third place. 9/11/07- First off, my thoughts and prayers go out to those involved in the cowardly acts on 9/11/01. On the lighter side of things, last night the world's greatest hair stylist, Launi, hosted her second annual Dirty Hairy's Backyard Bonanza. Monster, Kicker, VP and others sponsored the years craziest 50 race. On hand was Jeremy McGrath, Grant Langston, David Pingree, Ronnie Renner, Malcolm McCassy, Todd Potter, Ronnie Faisst, and a whole slew of other riders and industry people. The event was a great way to unwind after the long season and have a great time with friends. Click the image on the right to view all the action.

9/10/07- Yesterday marked the final round of the 2007 AMA Motocross Nationals Series. There were a lot of twists, turns, and fierce battles this year. Ricky Carmichael went out in true champion form by winning the over-all in every national he entered, finishing his career with 150 total MX/SX wins, With RC out of the picture it seemed as if James Stewart could take easy street to win his first 450 outdoor title, but a freak mishap left him with an injured knee, taking him out for the remainder of the season.
The absence of the two top dogs left the door wide open for a new championship. For the first time since Carmichael joined the premier class, the champion would come down to the final moto of the final round. Grant Langston made a late season charge to pass Alessi, Short, and Ferry to capture has first Motocross Championship. The only question left now is will Langston run the #1 plate outdoors next year? I sure hope he does.
Pro Circuit dominated every Lites championship this season. PC riders Ryan Villopoto and Ben Townley battled tooth and nail throughout the entire outdoor series for championship honors. The two swapped the points lead several times, until small mistakes by Townley late in season allowed Villopoto to inch away in the point standings. Although Ben Townley won the battle at Glen Helen, Ryan Villopoto won the war bar finishing second and clinching his second consecutive Motocross Lites title. In FMX news, Todd Potter won his first ever gold medal in Mexico City during the Mexico XGames. Todd's Kiss of Death Backflip edged out Kyle Loza's Summer XGames Best Trick winning "Volt for the gold. Jeremy Stenberg would finish third with a Backflip Indian Air to Heel Clicker. Matt Buyten won another gold medal in step up over Todd Potter and Brian Deegan.

9/6/07- So what has been going on lately? The FMXers have been training hard, getting ready for the Mexico XGames. Potter, Twitch, Lusk, Loza, Wacker, HuckaChuck, and others are in Mexico City right now. There will be no Freestyle, just Best Trick and Step Up. Will Loza win again with his "Volt," or will Potter get the score he deserves for his Kamikaze Flip?
I will not be there this weekend. Instead, I am going to Glen Helen for the final outdoor national. It was shaping up to be a great final round, but after the last 2 races, Villopoto and Langston both have gained a pretty safe points lead over the rest of the field. Something catastrophic would have to happen for either one of them to lose the title. I am sure this thought is in Langston's head after his heart breaking championship loss to Mike Brown in 01, due to a blown out rear wheel in moto2. Anything can happen! Either way, this weekend is jam packed with action. Check back for updates!

8/31/07- Potter, Fitzpatrick, Garland, Taka, Wes Agee, and Bill Cable were all riding at Fitzland yesterday in this awesome heat wave. Even at night it is in the 90s. Taka just started riding again since his XGames crash. You might also notice the fresh ink he got on his chest. He told Twitch that if he got into the XGames he would get twitch's clothing company logo, Controversy, tattooed across his chest. Potter is on a roll with learning flip tricks and is throwing huge Cliffhanger Flips. Fitzpatrick just started doing Superman Flips. They are looking pretty good for only doing them for 2 days. 8/27/07- Today I went to Twitch's house to shoot some photos of him for his new movie box cover. I set up a mock studio in his living room and snapped away. Twitch really has his magnum and blue steel poses down, and made for great cover shots. I wish I could show you how things went, but the shots must remain G-14 classified till the movie comes out later this year.

8/22/07- Since Robbie "Maddo" Maddison has been sidelined due to injury, he thought it would be nice to get back in front of the camera and get some new myspace photos. Haha. 8/21/07- Adam Jones used his momentum from winning XGames to capture his first win on the AST Dew Tour in Portland, OR. Unlike the other courses on the tour, the Portland event was held indoors with only three ramp jumps. Course difficulty would not be a factor and the only thing seperating the riders would be their tricks. Jones put together a solid run with tricks such as his new Shaolin and Stripper flips. This gave him the edge over Nate Adams, who pulled huge 360 Nacs and Cordova flips. Mike Mason is one tough SOB. Mase popped out his knee in his first run after a hard landing. He got his knee back into place and iced it down so he could return for run 2. He nailed down a solid run to finish third place. Click the image on the right to view all the photos.

8/16/07- Woohoo, first update since XGames. Lately it has been 105 degrees out here in Temecula, making daytime riding sessions feel like you are sitting in a sauna. When I heard an evening session was going down at Fitzpatrick's Monday, I could not pass it up. Potter has been working on his Cliff Hanger Flips and they are getting big! Check out the shot in the gallery. He has gotten them even better since that shot. Fitzpatrick has been working on his flip tricks as well and is riding really well. 8/6/07- So you may be wondering why there haven't been any XGames photo updates yet. I took on an insane work load this year at X, supplying a lot of people with photos. This has taken up all my time, and left this site bone dry. I need a major break today and will get cracking on the thousands of XGames photos tomorrow. Until then, you can check out my photos on www.expn.com. I shot all of the motocross content for the site. Have a look and check back soon for complete XGames galleries. Thank you everyone.

7/31/07- I am getting my things together for X Games. This year the competition should be intense. Everyone is on their A game this year and will be to close to call. Best Trick will be a treat with unknown rider Scott Murray going for the double backflip, Potter throwing huge Ruler Flips, and kyle Loza going for another rendition of the Body Varial. With a absence of Travis pastrana, and Nate Adams' recently injured finger, freestyle is anyone's ball game. Be sure to tune into ESPN and ABC Sports for live coverage of X Games 13.

Be on the look out for this guy (me), at X Games. I will have Tedescophoto stickers made by Dustin Nowak at Resen Graphics. He made up two different batches of stickers. Say Hi and get some stickers. |

7/24/07- Cleveland and action sports do not mix. After the flop of the Gravity Games, it makes me wonder why another event would be held there. The high winds from Lake Erie made competition nearly impossible. Heck, the smart people of Cleveland put up a giant windmill to generate power.
Practices were cancelled and Prelims were delayed until Saturday night at 11pm. Even then the riders were unable to ride to their full potential. Under the dark skies and artificial lights, Nate Adams qualified first. The little ninja, Taka Higashino, qualified second, followed by Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg. Brian Foster had a scary get off when he lost his footing doing a Nacnac Backflip. The end result was a dislocated left wrist. Get well soon Bubbs! Everyone hoped to improve over their qualifying scores in the finals, but they would not have a chance to. The high winds continued, making it extremely dangerous for everyone to compete in. The qualifying scores would be counted as the final results
In true showman form, all 10 riders who qualified for the finals agreed to put on a demo for the packed stands. I must say that the demo was a lot more exciting then actual finals competition. The demo consisted of dividable 45 second runs (unscored), followed by a best trick contest, double session, and one heck of a ten rider train. The crowd was extant. The tour heads to Portland, OR next where everything is held indoors. Unless the roof collapses, we will see an action packed event. Click the image on the right to view all the photos.

After Deegan's, Potter and I went to visit Bilko
in the hospital. He just had surgery to fix his
badly broken foot and repair his recently fixed
knee. As for the broken leg, it is doing just fine.
He gets out of the hospital tomorrow morning and
will be return to Australia. He says he
will be riding in 4 days because he is getting
metal legs. It is a risky operation, but it will
be worth it (That last part was a joke). When he
will be back on the bike is unknown at this
time. Heal up quick mate!

I pretty much lived in Maryland for the past 10
days. After the Budds Creek National, I went
home for a day and a half, and headed back down
to Baltimore for the first round of the AST Dew
Tour. The competition was stacked this
year. Riders from all over the world
attended to try and make it into the final.
Nate
Adams came out swinging, stomping both of his
runs. Impressively, Nate pulled huge 75
foot Backflip Cliff Hangers and 360 Nac Nac's.
Bilko debuted his Ruler Flip in competition.
He hoped to better his 1st run score, but was
unable to pull a trick in the double double
section. He still insisted on putting on a
good show for the fans and went for the Ruler
Flip. Unfortunately, the trick didn't go as
planned and Bilko ended up crashing, breaking a
bone in his leg and a "heap load" in his foot.
He will sit out for 12 weeks. Get well soon
mate! Despite having a scary get off in
practice, Mason was smooth as ever, nailing all
his tricks. His run was good enough for third.
Everyone rode great and the rest of the tour is
sure to be jam packed with action! Click the

Three years ago I got to watch Carmichael take
home his 100th career win at Budds Creek. It was
really awesome to be able to come back to the
same track and watch him win his 100th motocross
race (thats not including supercross victories).
If he wins out the last two races of his career,
he will have won 150 combined supercross and
motocross races.
Carmichael took his 100th mx win in true GOAT
form. Stewart took the moto 1 victory over
Carmichael, leaving RC with a win or lose
situation for moto 2. Stewart grabbed the lead
and held off Carmichael for 25 minutes of the
30+2laps moto. Going over Henry's Hill,
Carmichael made a wide open pass to get around
Stewart. The 2-1 finish over Stewart's
1-2, gave Carmichael the over-all win. Chad Reed
came back to race and inspect the track for the
Motocross of Nations, being held at Budds Creek
in September. Reed finished third on the
day going 3-4.
In
the Lites Class, Ryan Villopoto said goodbye to
the 39 riders behind him and never looked back.
He checked out in both motos, leaving his
teammate Ben Townley in a lonely second.
The real racing action was for third place.
In moto 2, Grant, Lawrence, and Dungey had an
amazing three way battle. Lawrence was
able to briefly get by Grant in an off camber
turn, but Grant got him right back in the
following corner. This allowed Dungey to slip by
Lawrence. In the end, Lawrence was able to
charge back to pass both Grant and Dungey to
finish 3-3 on the day. Dungey would finish 4th,
followed by Grant.

30+2laps moto. Going over Henry's Hill,
Carmichael made a wide open pass to get around
Stewart. The 2-1 finish over Stewart's
1-2, gave Carmichael the over-all win. Chad Reed
came back to race and inspect the track for the
Motocross of Nations, being held at Budds Creek
in September. Reed finished third on the
day going 3-4.
In
the Lites Class, Ryan Villopoto said goodbye to
the 39 riders behind him and never looked back.
He checked out in both motos, leaving his
teammate Ben Townley in a lonely second.
The real racing action was for third place.
In moto 2, Grant, Lawrence, and Dungey had an
amazing three way battle. Lawrence was
able to briefly get by Grant in an off camber
turn, but Grant got him right back in the
following corner. This allowed Dungey to slip by
Lawrence. In the end, Lawrence was able to
charge back to pass both Grant and Dungey to
finish 3-3 on the day. Dungey would finish 4th,
followed by Grant.

I am back home in NJ and the Journey's Backyard
BBQ Tour came to my local mall. Derek Garland,
Ryan Hagy, and Johnny Ebanol came out to put on
a FMX demo for the fans. Along with the
FMX demo, there was a skate vert demo, and bands
such as Save The day. I wasn't able to make it
to Southwick because of this. I will for
sure be in Budds Creek next weekend. Click the

Things have been slow lately. I wasn't able to
make it to the second round of the nationals,
and I wish I did because 450 moto 1 looked
great. A lot of the big players in FMX are
over seas right now in Australia for the Crusty
Tour, That doesn't leave me with very much
to do now does it? Thursday I am going back to
the east coast for the rest of the month
to do the next two nationals and the first round
of the AST Dew Tour. With the price of
flights now, it was a no brainer to stay out
east for the month since there will be 3 events
in 4 weeks. Southwick is this weekend so
stay tuned!

Hangtown was quite the mission. After
being there since Thursday, I was really looking
forward to getting home asap to work on photos.
On the way home, the motor home had a front tire
blow out, which let the Dirt Rider crew and me
stuck on the side of the road for a few hours
till a repair truck could come. I didn't
get home till 7am yesterday. The lack of sleep
made going through 1,600 photos pretty painful.
The
racing action was great at the opening round of
the outdoor series, along with the addition of
MX Ultimate Fighting. Lawrence and Villopoto
debuted the event. The Carmichael/Stewart
battle was a near repeat of last year, although
Stewart found himself on the ground a couple
more times. Ferry and Millsaps both put in
solid rides. On the podium, the two were trying
to figure out who would take home the final
podium position, which went to Ferry.
The
first Lites moto was featured a 4 way battle for
the lead between Grant, Dungey, Townley, and
Villopoto. Villopoto was on fire, taking
the lead, falling, then regaining it.
Townley finished second, followed by Dungey.
All the work Villopoto put in to take the first
moto win might has wore him out for the second
moto. While leading, he had another tip over in
a turn allowing Townley to get by and check out,
giving him his first win in his first US
National appearence. Villopoto had to settle for
second over-all, with Dungey in third.
Lawrence put in an impressive ride going 5-5 on
the day for 6th over-all. He was forced to come
though the pack in both motos after being given
40th gate pick for his Saturday practice run in
with Villopoto.

Doug Parsons held his second annual FMX Quarter
Pipe contest today in a secret location. Ronnie Renner, Dustin Miller,
Myles Richmond, Brian Foster, Robbie Maddison,
Matt Buyten, Kenny Bartram, and Drake McElroy,
all came out to ride the event. Renner was
the clear ahead winner of the event, with Myles
Richmond finishing second, followed by Dustin
Miller. The contest was riders judged.
Here are a few quick photos. Click the image on

ready to leave for the opening round of the AMA
Motocross National Series in Sacramento, CA.

This week was rather successful. On Monday
I shot the Winter 07 Mulisha catalog at Deegan's
house and West Coast Customs. WCC is an
awesome facility, with amazing art work all over
the walls. It made for great back drops
for the photos. Here is a sneak peak at
the Mulisha Shoot.
Yesterday I did a shoot for Thor with Nate
Adams' in the 2008 Core and AC gear. The
new product looked awesome as usual. It
was a good thing we had the AC gear, because by
11am it was already 95 degrees out in Temecula.
It is going to be one hot summer! I'd love
to show you the new Thor gear, but that is top
secret. I can show you a Taka doing his newly
learned trick, a Backflip Indian Air Seatgrab.

Hi everyone. I am off to Vegas tomorrow to do a
shoot with Carey Hart. I will also stop by
some sort of dirt cycle race that is going on in
the area as well. I will try and get some
photos, but since I was not planning on going
till I got the call to do the Hart shoot, I will
not have track access. Could this be the
first pro race I actually watch since Vegas 99?
I don't remember what that is like, could be
fun! haha.
Next
week, I will be doing a shoot with the Mulisha
for the new clothing line, and a Thor shoot with
Twitch and Nate Adams. Stay tuned.

Let me start off by saying, what a week.
Twitch, Faisst, Potter, Garland, Lusk, Taka,
Kota, and I loaded up 4 white vans and headed
for San Jose, CA on Monday. It was quite
like the Gumball Rally, but we did have teams;
Team Roommate- Potter, Garland, and me, Team
Landlord- Twitch, Faisst, and Lusk, Team Japan-
Taka and Kota, and Team Filmer- Dave and Brian.
Needless to say, Team Roommate killed the
competition all week long, or at least would had
if there was a contest.
The
Voss family, of Voss Motorsports, was nice
enough to let us use their 200+ acre rock
quarry, along with a wide array of dozers to
build jumps. The first day and a half were
building days. The guys made a landing
with 2 dirt hits and a ramp jump, along with 2
step ups and a step down. You will notice
a set of broken handle bars and a snapped
subframe. Taka and Potter both had some
crazy get offs on the last day of filming.
Potter bailed while trying a Seat Grab Flip and
Taka clipped the landing on a transfer line and
got sent straight to the ground. Both were
walked away. Twitch was getting upsided down off
the step up hip jump. I don't want to give too
much away and spoil the video for you. Click the
image on the right to view the photos.

I have been back home in NJ for the past week.
Tomorrow I fly back to CA, woohoo.... Then
this weekend I will be going on a week long road
trip to Northern California with Twitch, Potter,
Garland, Lusk, and Taka to a new location to
film for Twitch's new video. Stay tuned.

So you may be wondering where the updates have
been this week. Well my amazing internet
provider hasn't been providing me internet and
has been unable to fix the problem. Makes
me so glad I am spending $50 a month for it.
Anyway, I am going to Dallas shortly for
supercross. I will have photos up on
Monday because I have some assignments I need to
get done first on Sunday. You never know though,
I might pull it out and get it all done by
Sunday night. Check back then.

3/25/07-
Let me just start this update off by saying I am
happy to say I made it out of Mexico this year
without getting food poisoning, Woohoo.
The first round of RedBull's XFighters series
was amazing. The crowd is unreal, unlike
events here in the US where everyone is spoiled
and has an attention span of 2 minutes. I
don't think a single person left the event
early. All 42,000 seats were sold out in
the world's largest bull fighting arena.
It was hard to hear the bikes over the roar of
the crowd.
Last
years winner, Mat Rebeaud, hoped to repeat his
performance, but just returned from a broken
femur and did not have much time on the bike
prior to the event. The first round of
head to head qualifying eliminated half the
field of riders leaving, Robbie Maddison, Nate
Adams, Aigo Sato, Dany Torres, and Ronnie
Renner. After the second head to head
qualifying round Maddison, Adams, and Torres
were remained to battling for the win. Maddison
came into the event with some new flip
variations. This helped him earn his first
podium finish in the XFighters series, finishing
third. I am glad I was behind the camera
and not the judges table. Adams and Torres
both had spectacular runs with big tricks. Nate
had the 360, Lazyboy Backflip, and Cordova
Backflip. Torres came out swinging with
huge Underflips, Superflips, and Indian Air
Flips. It was too close to call. With the scores
held until the end to build suspense, Dany
Torres was announced the winner with Nate Adams
finishing second. Click the image on the right
to view the photos.

Here are a couple quick photos from yesterdays
practice at the Mexico City XFighters.
Dani Torres and Nate Adams had some big tricks.
It should be a great battle between the two.
Robbie Maddison also looked good with some new
flip tricks. Time to head over to the arena.

I finally made it to Mexico City. I didn't
think I was going to make my flight because as I
am sure most of you know, so cal has to be one
of the worst places in the world to drive in.
Don't people work normal 9-5 jobs? It took me
almost 4 hours to get to LAX from Temecula. Give
me NYC traffic any day. Ok, enough
ranting. The hotel here is awesome. Right
up there with any 5 star hotel in the US.
Practice is tomorrow. Hopefully the
weather holds up. It was sprinkling on the way
to the hotel and the forecast calls for
scattered thunderstorms. Keep your fingers
crossed everyone!

3/21/07-
Hi everyone. I am getting ready to walk out the
door to catch a flight to Mexico City for
Redbull's XFighters. It should be a great
contest. Last year was a blast. I just
hope I don't get food poisoning this year!
Check back for updates, or you can catch the
action live at
www.redbullxfighters.com.

I switched things up today and left the still
camera at home. Instead i broke out the video
camera and went with Potter and Garland to
Deegan's house to watch them work on their
flips. Hard to tell they have only been
flipping for 2 days. Deegan, Potter,
Garland, Hagy, Fitzpatrick got their new
Rockstar/Alpinestar gear. No more Sobe/No
Fear for the Metal Mulisha. Click the image

Potter, Garland, Ox, and Fluffer put on a fmx

We just got back from Deegan's house and Todd
Potter and Derek Garland both landed their first
75' back flips to dirt. The two both took 4
practice jumps and flipped on their 5th.
They both had good style and form. Tomorrow they
are going back for more. Click the image

pit were spot on. Wish them luck! Click

More photos from Brian Deegan's house are now
posted. Once the guys got done striking a
pose with their bling bling whips, they suited
up and put on a show for the people of Dub
Magazine. I tried to get Potter or Garland
to take my car and say it was theirs so it would
be in the magazine, but they wouldn't do it for
some reason. There goes our chance at
pulling chicks over the new house, "Hey ladies,
see me and my car in Dub?" Click the image

3/12/07-
Here is a gallery of photos from Nate Adams'
house taken last week. Nate, Twitch, and
Lusk were out there working on new tricks.
Japanese rider, Taka, was there enjoying all of
the different riding spots here in Southern
California. Not much riding in Japan for
Taka, so the California experience must be
overwhelming for him. Click the image on the
right to view the photos.
Today I went out to Brian Deegan's to check
their photo shoot for Dub Magazine. All
the cars were nice and clean. I wish I
brought mine to get a magazine quality wash! It
should be a cool spread. After the shoot
the guys suited up and rode for awhile despite
the 95 degree weather. This summer is going to
be a hot one and make riding a major pain in the
ass. Photos coming soon.

3/10/07-
I finally have internet at the new house so now
it is time for a photo update from Brian
Deegan's house. Like I mentioned in the post
below, I went out to Brian's house this past
Tuesday to shoot some photos. Jeff "Ox"
Kargola learned Superman and Indian Air
Backflips and they were huge. The
roommates were throwing it down out there as
well. Click the image on the right to have
a look.

3/7/07-
Just thought I would stop in and give a little
update. I am all settled into the new
house. Tons of excitement so far living
with Todd Potter and Derek Garland, and all the
people who stop by. Someone needs to turn this
place into a reality TV show, haha. You would
all want to watch wouldn't you? Yesterday
I went out to Deegan's house to shoot with him,
Ox, Potter, Garland, and Fluffer. I
haven't been out there to shoot yet so it was
pretty fun shooting somewhere new. The
clouds were in and out so it wasn't the most
ideal shooting conditions. Today I went
out to Nate Adam's house to shoot with Twitch,
Lusk, Japanese import Taka, and Jimmy McGuire.
I should have thought twice before complaining
about the light at Deegan's because it was
nothing but thick dark clouds today. You
may be wondering where all the photos are.
They will be coming soon because we still do not
have internet here. That's it for now.

3/5/07-
Sorry for the delay everyone. I am in the
process of moving and currently have no
internet. You can thank the people with
unsecured wireless connections for this update,
haha. Ricky Carmichael took his second victory of 2007
after Reed and Stewart went down early in the
main event. Stewart was left on the ground
in last place after his mishap with Chad Reed.
It looked as if Reed was going to be able to
gain some valuable point on Stewart, but Stewart
charged through the pack, passing Reed, to
finish second. Reed settled for third.
Kevin Windham put in a solid ride, finishing
fourth.
The
Lites class was full of passing and crashes.
Ryan Dungey, Darcy Lange, and Ben Townley all
battled for the lead, until mistakes by Dungey
prevented him from finishing the race. The
race for the win between Lange and Townley looks
as if it was going to come down to the last
turn, but Lange had a gruesome crash with
just two turns to go. Ryan Morais took
advantage of leaders mistakes to make his first
podium appearance of 2007. Matt Goerke
toughed it out after crashing hard in practice
finishing third. Morais and Goerke are now
tied to the points lead. Click the image

It is freezing here in NJ. Makes me miss
the nice warm weather of Southern California,
although it was fun playing in the snow Monday
night. I tried to warm things up a bit by
putting together a gallery of photos I had taken
at Jeremy Stenberg's new house last week.
A bunch of top guys were out there; Twitch,
Mason, Potter, Lusk, Richmond, and Gaup, just to name a few.
For now, I am in NJ till Friday. Then I
fly to St. Louis for supercross and head back to
CA from there. The fun begins then as I am
moving in with Todd Potter and Derek Garland (I
see new video Home Invasions in the near
future). Until then, click the image on

Ricky Carmichael gave it his best effort to take
his final win at the Georgia Dome last night.
When the gate dropped for the main event, he
found himself in third place behind Reed and
Stewart. Stewart quickly took the lead and
attempted to run and hide from the rest of the
field, most importantly from Carmichael and
Reed. Reed hoped to start a win streak,
but he lost the front end in a turn while
running second. He would finish third
after winning a hard fought battle with Ivan
Tedesco. Carmichael tried his best to reel
in Stewart but was unable to get close enough to
make a pass. He would have to settle for
second behind Stewart.
In
the Lites class, Factory Suzuki rookie Ryan
Dungey came out swinging. In his first
Supercross appearance, Dungey won his Heat and
the Main. Arenacross Champions Darcy Lange
turned heads aboard his new Pro Circuit Kawasaki
ride. Lange set some fast times in
practice and backed them up by finishing second.
Matt Goerke made his return after an injury

rider finished third and during his podium
interview went on to say he was going to win

Chad Reed captured his first win of the AMA
Supercross Series last night in San Diego.
Reed looked strong in his heat and carried that
into the main event. Stewart passed Reed
early, but he hung close until Stewart had a
huge mid-air get off. While jumping the
finish line jump on lap 8, James Stewart clipped a tough box
and sent him into a slide up the jump. This threw
him sideways in the air, and Stewart jumped off
the bike. Luckily He landed on his feet on the
top of the landing, narrowly escaping injury.
He remounted and finished fifth. Tim Ferry
and Kevin Windham took home their best results
of the year finishing second and third.
Ryan
Villopoto continued his dominance winning yet
another main event and his first Lites
Supercross title. Jason Lawrence looked to
have a great start, but he and Villopoto came
together and emerged in mid-pack. A solid
charge earned him another second place finish.
Villopoto's teammate Chris Gosselaar rounded out
the podium finishing third. Click the image on

Houston, TX, taking his 5th win out of 6 races.
Stewart came through the pack passing Reed,
Ferry, and Windham who were out front.
Reed worked his way around Ferry and Windham to
finish second. Tim Ferry capitalized on a
mistake by Windham and finished 3rd for the
second week in a row. Windham, who finished
fourth, was out front for the first time this
year before relinquishing his lead to Stewart.
The
Lites class had a great battle between Ryan
Villopoto and Jason Lawrence. The two
exchanged the lead three times, with Villopoto
taking the win. Lawrence finished second
followed by Josh Grant. Click the image onthe

Ailo Gaup and Julian Dusseau were out riding at
Twitch's house this morning. The light was
great momentarily, but the clouds decided to
move in and make things difficult for me.
More photos from Twitch's with some better
lighting early next week. For now, I have to get
ready to catch a flight to Houston for
Supercross. Click the image on the right

Yesterday I went to Lake Elsinore's newly
redesigned supercross track. The track was
fast paced with 2 hard back to back whoop
sections. Matt Georke, Kyle Cunningham, Ryan
Morais, David Vuillemin, Justin Brayton, Daniel
Sani, Kyle Partridge, Logan Darien, and others
all came out to dissect the new track and get
ready for Houston this weekend. Click the image

Chad Reed almost had the race he has been
looking for last night in the third and final
race in Anaheim. His performance has
vastly improved since Anaheim 2. A mistake
by Stewart allowed Reed to catch and then pass
him. The two then came together
momentarily in an off camber turn. Two
turns later Stewart came in hot on the inside of Reed
after a whoop section and nearly knocked him off
the track. Like Cole Trickle said in Days
of Thunder, "Rubbing's racing Harry!" This
allowed Stewart to pull away, but Reed kept him
honest and closed on him within the final laps.
Houston should be a good one since Reed is back
up to speed. Tim Ferry landed his first podium
finish of the year.
In
the Lites main, Jason Lawrence was cheated out
of what very well could have been his first win.
Lawrence and Hansen were out front after the
start with Villopoto in mid pack. Once the
bikes made it through the first turn, Jake
Weimer was left lying on the ground. Not
even half way through the first lap the red flag
was called for, stopping the race. This
was completely unnecessary, considering Weimer
was up before Lawrence reached the finish line.
It wasn't even as if he was located in a
dangerous blind section where if he was injured,
the medical crew couldn't attend to him.
Weimer entered in the restart and went on to
finish 6th. It doesn't seem right that a rider
can cause a race to be red flagged, and then be
allowed to enter the race on the restart. Two
red flags in one race, when was the last time
that happened?
On
the restart the tables turned. Villopoto and
Grant were out front with Lawrence buried in the
pack. Villopoto checked out and Grant held onto
second. Lawrence came through the pack and
salvaged a third place finish. Josh Hill almost
made his first podium of the year, since his
Anaheim 2 podium finish was stripped away from
him, finishing fourth.
It
was also good to see Jeff Tilton, Tommy Clowers,
Dustin Miller, and Jake Windham put on a Red
Bull FMX demo for the crowd. It is a great
idea and hopefully they will do this more often
to add a little more excitement to the program.

I stopped by Nate's house today where Brian
Deegan, Brian Foster, Derek Garland, Ailo Gaup,
Ryan Hagy, Todd Potter, and Jeremy Stenberg were
riding. You might notice something
different about Twitch's bike. He has a
new deal going down today. See if you can spot
the new sponsor! Deegan is now wearing
Alpinestars gear. Other then that, it was just
another practice session. Everyone is
keeping on top of their game over the lengthy FMX off season. These guys could sure use
some events this time of year, hint hint
promoters. Photos are on the right.
Anaheim 3 tomorrow, followed by photos Sunday
night. That is of course if I am able to get any
work done with the super bowl on. GO....I don't
really care since the Giants aren't in it.

Sadly there will be no photo update from San
Francisco this weekend. I was unable to make it
to the race due to shoots I had/have to do. I
did go take some photos of a 2007 BMW 335i Coupe
yesterday in between shoots. Auto
photography is a heck of a lot different then mx
that's for sure so go easy on me. Be on
the look out for photo shoots of the riders
baller cars as soon as they wash them and I
scope out some spots for a good shoot.
I
really wish I could have been there to see
Carmichael win. The race looked awesome. Tons of
action and lead changes. Don't worry, I am scheduled to
go to at least all the rounds up to St. Louis,
so there will be plenty of photos to come. Here are results from last night's race.

It sure was hard going through all these Anaheim
photos with the NFL Playoffs on, but I managed
to get it all done in record time while watching
the games for you all. Anaheim just wasn't
the same without the big yellow number 4 bike of
Ricky Carmichael. Heck, his bike wasn't
even in the pits! As soon as the gate
dropped in the 450 main it was the James Stewart
show. Reed showed him a wheel for about
.03 seconds and then it was bye-bye Stewart.
Reed is still riding in a lot of pain, but put
in another solid ride to secure the runner up
position. Nick Wey made his first podium
appearance of the year finishing third.
One can only wonder how much longer it will take
Reed to be 100% to get up there and give Stewart
a run for his money. Until then, we will have to
settle for some great Lites Racing action.
Ryan
Villopoto took the lead early on the first lap
of the Lites class and never looked back.
Last weekend's winner, Christpohe Pourcel,
suffered a fractured foot and was unable to
finish the race. He will return to France.
Anaheim 1's third place finish, Jason Lawrence,
hope to repeat his stellar performance last
night. He moved quickly through the pack
to take over second place. At that point
Villopoto had checked out. It would be
interesting to see these two riders start
together. Rookie Josh Hill scored his first
podium finish in only three races, finishing
third. Welcome back to MB1 Honda rider Daniel
Sani (cr56 in the photos). This was his
first race back since suffering a broken ankle.
He came out and took the holeshot in his heat
and quilified for the main. Someone give
this kid a fulltime ride for the outdoors! You
know where you find the photos

Fluffer called me yesterday afternoon telling me
to come out to Fitzpatrick's house to shoot some
photos on him in some 08 prototype No Fear gear.
I, being very gullible, actually believed him
and went out there. Sure enough there was
no 08 prototype gear, but there was plenty of
wind. This made it very difficult and
dangerous for the guys
to pull tricks. Potter made a little
kicker jump off of the side of one of the
landings. He was getting really flat off
of it. The sunset at Fitzpatrick's is
amazing and made for some great photos.
Too bad I was experiencing some technical
difficulties with my wireless transmitters so I
didn't get as many shots as I would have liked
to. Time to get stuff ready for Anaheim 2.
As usual, click the image on the right to view
the photos (one of these days I am going to stop
writing that).

I stopped by Nate Adams' house today for a quick
little riding session. Nate is still recovering
from having the rod removed from his femur.
He will be back on the bike next week.
Twitch and Faisst were there for a little bit,
but they both had to leave early. Faisst
was working on his 360's into the pit. Hopefully
this time he gets all the way around on dirt!
Twitch was on hand messing around. Brian
Foster came down from Carson City to ride since
it is too cold there to ride. Fluffer and
Ox were out there jumping their dirt cycles.
It was quite a site, haha. Check out the
photos by clicking the image on the right.

James Stewart won an exciting main event over
Ricky Carmichael in Phoenix last night.
Stewart was enjoying a comfortable lead, until
David Vuillemin had a very scary crash in a
rhythm section, causing the race to be red
flagged. On the restart, Carmichael took
the hole shot and Stewart quickly moved into
second. The two had an exciting battle,
with Stewart taking the win by a couple bike
lengths. Supercross just isn't going to be
the same without RC. Reed toughed it out
for the second week in a row, and was able to
finish third. Given his current physical
condition, it is going to be near impossible for
him to run Stewart's pace.
In
the Lites class, French import Christophe
Pourcel took his first win in only his second
attempt at US Supercross. Ryan Villopoto
had a bad start and was forced to come through
the pack. By the time he made it into
second place, Pourcel had already checked out.
There should be some good battles between these
two in the weeks to come. Jason Lawrence
was looking to repeat his podium performance,
but went down before the whoop section. He
remounted and finished 8th. Josh Grant
scored no points for the second week in a row
due to a mechanical problem. Chris
Gosselaar rounded out the podium, making it a
Pro Circuit sweep. Click the image on the

I just got home from shooting photos at the
filming of Twitch's new video. We went to
a top secret location near Magic Mountain in
Southern California. A bunch of people came out;
Faisst, Potter, Buyten, Morrison, Manley,
Fitzpatrick, Lusk, and others. It was a
good 2 days of filming. Potter owned the
huge step up jump on the course, pulling a
Double Grab over it. The guys all put on a
good show, and it will make for some great
footage for the video. A special thanks to
the guys at MB2 raceway for letting us come out
and tear up their brand new soon to be opened go
kart track. It was a blast! Check them out a
www.mb2raceway.com. As for the photos,
well I need to shower because I am covered
in about 2 inches of dust and dirt right now.
I will get to them as soon as I can.
Also, thank you to everyone who stopped by here
yesterday. The site received the most hits
ever in its short life span, 886,333 hits to be
exact!

Supercross was in full swing again yesterday at
Anaheim, CA. I hope you all got a chance
to watch the broadcast live on Speed last night.
Stewart was on fire yesterday. He passed Reed
half way through the first lap. It looked
like it was going to be smooth sailing from
there, until he lost the front end and went down
after the finish line jump. Carmichael, who
hoped to get his first A1 victory, took the lead
after Stewart's crash, but would subdue to a
hard charging Stewart. RC had to settle for
second at his last race at Anaheim. Reed rode
through the pain of his broken shoulder blade
and was able to secure a third place finish.
With RC in semi-retirement, and Reed injured at
the moment, it is Stewart's title to lose.
In
the Lites class, SX new comer Christophe Pourcel
took the holeshot and lead for the first lap.
Villopoto made the pass on Pourcel on lap 2 and
never looked back. Pourcel would hold on
to second in his supercross debut.
Jersey's finest, Jason Lawrence, put in the ride
he has been waiting for, finishing third.

Hey everyone. I am back in California. Time to
get back in action.
Saturday is Anaheim 1 (which I know you all
know), then Monday I am jumping
in the RV with Twitch to go document the filming
of his new video. It will be nice to
finally shoot some new photos. It has been way
too long. Check back soon!
